Basic types of bearing brackets

Comparable with the MOSO support brackets for masonry, these brackets are also manufactured for prefabricated parts. However, a key difference is the welded-on mandrel for position fixation. There are 3 common basic types as shown in the following examples:

 

Use and application

  • Ideal for façades made of precast concrete components with slim geometries where concreted-in load-bearing suspensions are not possible due to the small edge distances or thicknesses of the prefabricated part
  • For prefabricated parts with larger recesses in the centre or in places where they would otherwise be fastened
  • Quick and easy on-site installation if the fastening components have not been concreted in at the prefab factory
